A Great Gift Idea and How It Made Me Think

Yesterday was my wife’s birthday and I bought a unique present called Storyworth!
Since we have kids and now a grandchild this gift is sort of like writing your own autobiography one week at a time.

Each week they give you another question and at the end of 52 weeks you have a book you can add photos to etc.- it’s a great gift idea for a spouse -parent- grandparent to leave a legacy for future generations

I found out about this book because my son and daughter gave it to me for my birthday last August so I am 40 plus weeks into my story.

TODAYS QUESTION FOR ME WAS — WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR VIEW ON OVER THE YEARS?
WOW!

This one made me think alot and what’s more interesting is that it made me think of originating and how much your mindset and thoughts affect what you do and how you do it…

If you are new- than you may not know that this is my 38th year as an originator…
Alot has changed- there werent cell phones -computers- internet-
Heck- there weren’t even fax machines when I started..

SO HERE ARE SOME OF THE BIG THINGS I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ON ABOUT ORIGINATING OVER THE YEARS

It’s all about rates and service- whoever has the best rate and gives the best service wins! this one is clearly wrong- its never about either of these issues

You must work hard and be available 24/7/365
Wrong- this only serves to burn you out and be a nasty person.. or worse!

You must go out and cold call and meet agents— !
WRONG AGAIN— going out to FIND busienss or CALL ON AGENTS is really the biggest mistake you can make!!!
The correct way is to attract them - I share many techniques right here in the underground and also in the Crack The Agent Code Program - The WOrkshop on Workshop Program and of course the LO UNFAIR EDGE Programs.

There are actually many more “things” i thought were right but over the years have proven not to be the case- Yet sometimes I still find myself doing them …Guess we are all creatures of habit who look for the easiest and fastest path..
