THERE ARE SO MANY POINTS — LET ME DO A “RAPID FIRE” HERE
First - this business is a relationship business NOT a transactional one!
Second- Agents get paid and really only care about getting deals closed.
They are trusting you with their reputations and their commissions.
Third- when I review my top agent list- many of them started with me as listing agents on my deals..
SO WHAT SHOULD DO EVERY FRIDAY?
Actually the day doesn’t really matter- It just matters that it’s the same day each and every week so there is consistency.
I have a status meeting and then send the LISTING and SELLING Agents an update on the file.
Agents NEVER need to call me… I have already called them-
REMEMBER THIS-
People care about what you know but they won’t work with you until they know you care!!!
There is actually a little more involved in converting these listing agents to using me consistently and building a relationhip…
There is an email and package I mail to them when I take application
Then there are these weekly updates
There are some phone calls in between
There is an email sent to them the day of closing with some information to peak curiosity
I am going to share each and every one of these on the Cracking The Agent Code workshop for those attending.. but for now- you need to impress these listing agents so that they WANT to use you !!!
Many of them tell me that they barely hear from the originators they give loans to and NEVER hear from originators on their listings..
