As we approach 2021 in 8 weeks ask yourself these important questions.
2020 is almost over
For many of us it has been one of the best years or maybe even their best year…
But it truly has been a strange year in almost every respect.
THIS IS THE TIME OF YEAR THAT WE SHOULD BE PLANNING 2021
because what you do or don’t do right now will impact your Jan -Feb - March paychecks.

OFTEN THE QUESTIONS WE ASK OURSELVES DETERMINE OUR SUCCESS
So here are some questions and explanations …
1.- WHAT WOULD YOUR PRODUCTION BE THIS YEAR IF THERE WAS NOT A REFI BOOM?
If you have been in the business for any longer than 1 year than you already know this refi boom will end at some point. I hope it’s not for many months to come but it WILL end.
This year has been great - but don’t get lulled into a false sense of security that it will ALWAYS be this way. Look at the amount of units you closed and the dollar volume and remove the refinances.
Would you still have had a good year.. or a bad one?
2. WHAT WAS YOUR AVERAGE LOAN AMOUNT?
Take the number of loans you have closed and divide it by the dollar volume.
One of the biggest ways I grew my own income was concentrating my efforts on getting my average loan amount up from 235000 to 310000
This lets you do less loans and make more money!
3.WHERE DID YOUR BUSINESS COME FROM ?
Did you have a plan going into 2020?
Did it work out?
Did the business come from the sources and marketing efforts you thought it would?
Why?
Why not?
Be honest with yourself!
My own business this year is up almost double
My refi % is 32%
My average loan went up because I focused on marketing in higher priced areas and to agents who sell higher priced homes.
Staying true to delivering top notch service and communication ( status updates weekly and my propietary marketing letters and systems for listing agents) allowed me to add over 17 new agents as referral partners simply because they received results in advance.
I didn’t have to zoom or beg or have coffee…. Using my system for listing agents and communicating with them proved to them why they should call me since their lenders were taking refis- not responding and taking too long to close loans.

4. IS WHAT YOU ARE DOING TAKING YOU CLOSER TO YOUR GOAL?

Take the time and be honest with yourself.
It’s so easy to get off track or go down a path that sounds reasonable or buy a system from a guru who doesn’t originate but makes BIG PROMISES to you..
So ask yourself- is this working or not?
Is what I am doing daily helping me generate more commissions, relationships and deals?
