In the last 2 pre halloween posts I have been sharing with you the ways to ATTRACT new agents relationships VERSUS the scarier ways of “going after” them by chasing them.
NOW THAT YOU HAVE ATTRACTED THEM- THE REAL SCARY PART BEGINS! So here’s some advice from Count Sacksula !
You worked hard- and attracted the agent — NOW WHAT?
You can’t tell them you have great rates and good service and are open 24/7/365 like a 7/11 …. THEY EXPECT THIS..
Let’s go back to basics here and understand what every real -estate agent wants..
YUP - THEY WANT TO SELL HOMES..
Now the question is what will you do — what can you do- to help them do this as a partner..
WITHOUT CUTTING A CHECK FOR ZILLOW OR REALTOR.COM LEADS ..
Here are a few ideas…
1. Provide them with a tool them helps them market their listings and includes your contact information - I use list reports
2. Provide them with a daily list of FSBO’s and EXPIRED’s they can use to get more listings
3. Do some homebuyer workshops with them on various topics
You can do it live once and then have the REPLAY appear to be live
and they can promote it to all new prospects and in their ads
This also gives you a reason to contact them weekly with new leads.

4. Follow up on clients they refer to you until they are ready to buy
Sounds basic- but we contact the agent and the buyer each month
5. Make a great impression on the listing agents- YES they sell homes too
and they are now forced to be dealing with you so show off your service
6. Use an agent SHOCK AND AWE PACKAGE to show them all of the tools you have ot offer and show them how to sell more homes with the programs you have.
Provide them with marketing flyers they can use to promote you and their business.
Coach them on ideas you have to generate more leads.. assuming they work!
