this is the time to be making realistic plans for 2025
This is the time of year to prepare for 2025
2023 not so great
2024 even worse…
BUT 2025 WILL BE GREAT !!!! so please prepare for it
Make a plan
Work backwards…
Here’s a quick example :
INCOME GOAL- 100,000 per year
Average Loan Amount 300,000 at 100 bps is 3000 per loan
100,000/3000 = 33 loans so lets just say 36 loan a year or 3 per month
NOW THIS IS WHERE MOST PEOPLE STOP AND ITS A MISTAKE….
We now need to 2 more things…
A plan to accomplish it
Monitoring system in place to review each month to make sure you are on track!
Let’s say you want 2 loans a month to come from realtor referrals
you will need SIX agents who each do 4 buyer side transactions per year
You will also need 1 other method of getting your third deal-
- Referral from past client
- Referral from other professional -CPA - Planner -Divorce Attorney etc
_ Direct to consumer with homebuyer workshops or other methods
There is no right or wrong but you must have multiple ways to generate new business
THE KEY here is monitoring your progress each month and having DEEP RELATIONSHIPS — six realtor realtionships with six agents you have vetted and you know closed 4 buyer side transactions per year should be easily mangaeable…
GO DEEP NOT WIDE !!!
