DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TOO OLD?
Did you know that the average age a loan officer in our country is approximately 54 years old. I don’t know about you but I certainly fit that profile and so I wanted to share with you some thoughts with you that I hope will resonate.
Growing up I would say my family was lower middle class and trying very hard to stay there. My parents had a small shoe store on a main street that was being obliterated by the newest fad to hit which was shopping malls.
So early on I made up my mind that I was going to be rich. I actually set a date to be a millionaire and I actually accomplished it. A few years later than I hoped but I did it by working hard and smart.
BUT THEN THE COUNTRY MELTED DOWN AND I LOST IT ALL.
I remember waking up and saying everything was fine when I went to bed.
Now I am rebuilding both my mortgage business and other businesses and this time I am wiser so it takes a lot less time to make them all even more successful than they were BEFORE I melted down.
Notice- I say I melted down – not blaming my issues on the economy or the president etc.
YOUR FIRST STEP TO BEING SUCCESSFUL IS TAKING FULL RESPONSIBILTY FOR YOUR SUCCESS AND TEMPORARY SET BACKS.
Write that down somewhere and have a great week- Stay focused and I wish you much success !!! BTW- you can feel free to copy this one and send it to whoever you think will benefit from it!

Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21.
Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet.
Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow.
Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it.
Never tell yourself you missed your chance.
Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough.
You can do it. Whatever it is."
