A few weeks ago I did a special training with about 20 originators.. and we went really deep into the issues we have as originators.
1. Begging for business
2. Going after new agent relationships one at a time by calling or visting them ( usually unannounced)
This is actually backwards - stay with me here because its important.
You should NOT just be going after agents one at a time - instead you should go after dozens of them all at one time.
You can do this by partnering with your local board of realtors and hold your own events. I ususally partner with title companies because they are going after the same agents I am.
They win- and I win- they get exposed to my agents and I get to their agents
BUT THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART
I am attracting them by providing information to them that helps them sell more homes
and immediately positions me ( and you) as their expert
They actually leave and hand me their cards and ask for meetings without me even asking
( that's the attraction part)
TO PUT IT SIMPLY- IT WORKS !
