Its really a BS excuse.. IN fact an agent once told me that very excuse and I told them
I was so sorry to hear that because I had a buyer I wanted to refer.. but guess I can’t.!
One of the things I do when I get a new loan is to reach out to the listing agent with the email below and a copy of my SHOCK AND AWE brochure…

I think send them a copy in the mail.. DON’T EVER RELY ON JUST email…
Then every week I send them a status update— without them ever needing to call me..
YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT — BUT ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS…
In fact here is the response we got this morning from this agent..
( We are now dating…. figuratively)
After approval and right before closing when we are CTC - I will call her and ask if she would like to meet to explore working together and see if it would be a fit
( notice- I didn’t say I would call to ask for coffee or beg her for business)
TRY THIS- IT WORKS!!!!
It’s the extra mile your compeitiors don’t do and the GURUS don’t teach because they don’t originate…
In terms of listing agents- there are many who truly do only focus on listings
But what about their sellers- they are going to buy right?
What if you have an expertise that will help them sell their listings faster
EX- we are experts on CONDOS so many listing agents suggest their co op agents
and buyers ONLY use us
OR reno loans- same scenario
What can you give these agents to get and sell more listings — tools like listreports?
