Tammy started out as a mortgage loan officer in 2009 during one of the most challenging times in our industry.
She worked hard and did what her managers told her to do which was go meet some agents and build a database..
Tammy went to agent happy hours and did the dialing for dollars every week making at least 50 calls. On the weekends Tammy went to meet agents at open houses and even attended events at her Board of Realtors.
Things were very slow but due to her persistence- she finally started to build a book of business and get on some even footing..
She took part in the COVID refi boom and thought everything was going great !!!
Then one day the FED decided to HIKE RATES- then again -then again then again
until finally her business dried up.. and she was frustrated - burntout and seriously considering leaving the business.
But she decided to give it a little more time hoping things would get better - She even hired 2 different coaches.. but unforunately she was not making any progress
Tammy knew in 2023 it was either going to be a make it or LEAVE it year … and based on her commissions it was more likely to be the year she LEFT the business.
Then an email landed in her box from me… and she decided to take one more shot !
She was able to meet agents but they often ghosted her after the “COFFEE” meeting or lunch and the ones she thought she had a loyal relationship weren’ doing much business either.. some actually left the business which made her feel a little better knowing others were in the same boat.
Tammy is now closing 8-10 loans a month on average- and here’s the email she sent me
