What can Workshops Really Do For Your Production?
Do workshops really work?
Thats the question I was asked several times over the past week by many subscribers and truthfully it’s a good question to ask.
When I first started doing them years ago- it was very hit or miss..
Some would get a decent crowd but no one wound up using me after the event.
Some would get no turn out or 1 or 2 people and we would sit around eating doughnuts..
SO I MADE IT MY MISSION TO REALLY STUDY THESE EVENTS FROM NUMERSOUS PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF OUR INDUSTRY… and it works!!!
WHY SHOULD YOU DO THEM?
First- Its a great way to show value to a real estate partner — especially when you are first meeting them.
Second- It’s a great way to keep agents loyal and have a reason to contact them each week. I put the replay up and it feels like a live session and the agents promote this to their unconverted leads and new prospects…
Every monday I send them the list of people who registered from the past week so they can follow up
THIRD-
It allows buyers to see that you are a seasoned pro who can help them.
It allows them to trust YOU and bond with you BEFORE they even speak with you.
They watch the webinar ( replay) and are able to immediately set up a one on one call with you using a simple software that pops up at the end of the workshop.
ITS WHAT I CALL EDUSELLING
meaning you don’t need to be a cheezy salesperson- you are educating them and they immediately see you as the go to person.
FOURTH- IT PRODUCES BUSINESS EACH AND EVERY WEEK
I don’t think this statement even needs an explanation - but yes- it generates buyers !!!
There are many challenges with doing workshops:
1 Picking the right agent to do it with
2 Picking the right location - day and time ( online and off)
3. Having the best software ( some are free)
4.Knowing how to get them to show up
5. Knowing how to get them to stay and not jump off
6. Knowing WHAT TO SAY
7. Knowing How TO SAY IT
8. Knowing how to convert them into buyers — not just workshop attendees
There are even more issues- but I am going to be doing a workshop on workshops
