A Lesson and A Favor- This Maybe Why Agents Aren’t Responding
We all know what happens when we assume. You can break it up to ass-u-me
But I see many loan officers doing just that..
They somehow are successful setting up a meeting with an agent they want to partner with. Then they meet /zoom/coffee and VOMIT on them all of the reasons for them to use you ..
good rates- good service- available 24/7 and on and on and on…
BUT WHAT IF YOU JUST STOPPED— AND ASKED THEM WHAT THEIR PAIN IS INSTEAD…
There are a few lessons here:
First come from a position of strength and don’t beg—- You should be interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you …
I don’t care if your pipeline is now down to zero loans — they need to see you as being successful.
AND YOU SHOULD NEVER ASSUME… LET THEM TELL YOU WHAT THEIR ISSUE IS AND THEN FOCUS ON THAT !!! SO YOU CAN BECOME THEIR SOLUTION@@@
Maybe their problem is that their loan officer doesn’t respond or doesn’t give updates on files..
Maybe their issue is that they seem to be getting buyers that need a certain program or grant.
OR
Maybe their issue is MARKETING and not getting good high quality leads and THEIR loan officer isn’t helping !!
One of the best ways I have found to solve this problem IS NOT CUTTING A CHECK for zillow or realtor or homesnap leads..
BUT INSTEAD to create a workshop with them-
Help them get people to attend
Then put it all on auto-pilot so you have a reason to call them every week with new leads who attended the on-line event and workshop..
MAKES SENSE RIGHT?
